Because of the outbreak of scammers here in multiply, I would like to post a LIST of How to DETECT (Possible) Scammers. (These are just my observations) My sister recently encountered a seller of orig LV bags who used this style... long story short when my sister asked for her driver's license or any id, hindi na nangulit at nawala na ang website!! (Scammer siguro since pareho ang style sa typical scammers I have read about and encountered indirectly.)
TIPS TO DETECT (POSSIBLE) SCAMMERS:
1) Check how OLD the site is. The DATE is at the Top Right part of the site. scan for it and mahahanap nyo rin yun. If the site is NEW please be WARY and dont be too trusting of your hard earned money. It would also help if you check all albums that the seller has and check all of the dates of the albums. If all albums are posted in one day or the dates are near to each other then you should think twice about buying from that seller.
Old or new sellers, if the amount is BIG then its better to meet up/pick it up at the seller's place.
2) Doesn't have Real Pics - Although some DO put their own pics or possibly, stole other people's pics
3) Seller ONLY accepts G-CASH. It is safer to pay thru banks than g-cash. so if the seller ONLY transacts thru g-cash and no option for Meet ups, Pick ups, Bank payments.. its possibly a sign na.
4) Allows "Half Payments" to REEL you in - pay 1/2 then after u receive the item, pay the other half. As a seller, I WILL NEVER ALLOW My buyer to only pay for half then pay the other half later. Who knows whether the buyer will still pay you after receipt of the item?? For me, this is the BIGGEST INDICATOR that the person you are dealing with is a SCAMMER. Who in their right mind will allow the buyer to receive the item first then expect payment even if half-half?
5) Masyadong Makulit/Mapilit sa buyer - Pag makulit ang seller as in ung every moment nalang nagaask kung kukunin mo, alanganin na yun.. tapos pag di mo pa sure kunin, bibigyan ka ng MUCH lower price/easier terms (1/2 payment etc..)... para kumagat ka.
6)Check for Old Buyers' Feedback of the seller. But sometimes Feedback can be faked.. if desidido talaga magscam, gagawa yan ng maraming account to put "feedbacks".
Then just wait... After a week or two - deleted na ang account. ibig sabihin may naloko na siyang iba.
As much as possible BUY FROM REPUTABLE SELLERS who have OLD accounts.
